Hathaways serie berkaitan dengan seri sebelumnya the Wallflowers. Kita bertemu kembali dengan Sebastian dan Marcus. Hero dalam cerita ini, Rohan, pernah disebut dalam Devil in the Winter, manager klub yang diwarisi Evie.
Yang menarik dalam cerita ini adalah 'keberanian' Lisa Kleypas menempatkan seorang Roma (gypsi) sebagai tokoh utama. Mengingat prejudice masyarakat abad ke-19 terhadap suku nomaden ini. Tidak terbayang beban yang di'endure' Amelia untuk menikahi Rohan. Apakah ton bisa menerima?
Setidaknya ton lebih permisif terhadap wealthy person, dan Rohan digambarkan sekaya Midas!
